Beyond its famed big cats, Bandhavgarh boasts a diverse array of wildlife, including leopards, sloth bears, Indian elephants, and various species of deer. The rich birdlife further enhances its charm, with sightings of White-rumped Shamas, Red Jungle Fowl, and Greater Adjutant Storks. Exploring Bandhavgarh is not just about wildlife encounters—it’s a journey through history, nature, and unforgettable moments in the wild.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & First Safari Experience

Upon arriving in Bandhavgarh, you will check in at our comfortable resort anytime after 12:00 PM, depending on your travel plans. After a delightful lunch, we set out for our first safari around 2:30 PM.

In the evening, over a delicious dinner, Aman will introduce the group, discuss the first day’s experience, address all the issues faced and brief everyone on the regulations to ensure a responsible and rewarding experience.

Days 2 & 3: Morning & Afternoon Safaris

Our days begin early with a wake-up call before sunrise, ensuring we reach the park gates at the earliest. Entering at dawn gives us the best chance to track fresh pugmarks and other signs of tiger movement. Early mornings and late afternoons are prime times for tiger activity, so we make the most of these golden hours for wildlife sightings and photography.

As we navigate the park’s varied landscapes, beginners’ luck might just bring an early tiger sighting, setting an electrifying pace for the tour. However, even if the tigers remain elusive, the sheer beauty of Bandhavgarh’s landscapes and diverse wildlife promises a captivating experience.

After returning from our morning drive, we take a break before heading out again for our afternoon safari around 2:30 PM. This is an excellent time for bird photography, with species like White-rumped Shamas, Red Jungle Fowl, and Greater Adjutant Storks making frequent appearances.

Throughout the tour, Aman will strategize with expert guides and drivers to maximize chances of seeing and photographing tigers. If a sighting occurs, we will work to position ourselves for the best possible shots.

Evenings are spent reviewing photos, sharing experiences, and engaging in interactive photography sessions, followed by a relaxed dinner.

Day 4: Final Safari & Departure

On the last morning, we embark on one final safari, hoping for one last magical moment in the wilderness. After returning for breakfast, you will check out and transfer to your departure point—whether by train from Katni or Umaria or by flight from Jabalpur. If flying, an overnight stay in Jabalpur may be required before catching your onward journey the next morning.

As the tour concludes, you leave not just with stunning photographs but with unforgettable memories of Bandhavgarh’s untamed beauty.
